British Standard Foundation

Wax Foundation or the Honeycomb Base is a plate made of wax with the base of the honeycomb. It is used to give the bees a foundation on which they can build the honeycomb. British Standard Foundation is suitable for WBC and National hives and compatible with our British Standard Frames. We sterilise all our foundation. A healthy hive means healthy bees. Using our sterilised wax, which has been warmed to a temperature to ensure 
pathogens have been killed, meaning you can rest safe in the knowledge that your bees start the season drawing their combs from foundation made of the purest wax.
