Live Bees 2026
Before you buy your bees, we recommend you try a taster or beginner course. Please reach out to your local Beekeeping Association for advice.
We are delighted to offer for sale a 5-frame nucleus of bees bred in beautiful Devon following the Buckfast Standards. These bees have been specifically bred from carefully selected queens, to be calm in nature and reluctant to swarm. The bees are supplied in a Wooden Nucleus Box with Ventilated Lid, British Standard Hoffman Frames (Suitable for National or WBC hives), and sterilised wired Foundation.
Overwintered nucs will be available to collect from April 2026 (dates will be dependent on the weather conditions). We will aim to call you the week prior to collection dates.
Orders require a £75 non-refundable deposit. The balance of £250 is payable upon collection from our Okehampton Click & Collect room.
